This work is inspired by FromSoftware’s Bloodborne, and The Wretched was originally inspired by Ben Roswell’s You Are Not Alone In This Life and you will die alone out here in the black, which were, in turn, inspired by Takuma Okada’s Alone Among the Stars. The title font used in the text is Flesh and Blood by JoannaVu. The cover image is by putridCheese.

Content Warning: bodily trauma, player-character death, themes of loss and despair.

This is Version 0 of Living Failures. I plan to return to actually finish the game, but, in the spirit of the Failing Entities Jam, it currently exists as is: a failure.
